Synopsis

“Isolated” was filmed between two lockdowns due to Covid-19. Our characters, the elderly, are the ones who were most vulnerable. The restrictions put in place by the government to protect them from Covid-19 have exposed them to the horrific reality of loneliness more than any other sector in the population.

Director’s Biography

Naama Pyritz graduated from the School of Visual Arts NYC class of 1998. For over 20 years, she has worked as a freelance independent producer producing numerous documentary films and series. Noted among these is the documentary series “Slaves of the Sword” 2003, The adventures of Saul Bellow 2020, 2007-2011, “Connected” season 2+3 documentary series, 2009 “Isolated” 2020 documentary (Director and Producer) and many more.
