Have you always wanted to write and perform spoken word or poetry, but don’t know where to start? Sign up for our intersectional feminist poetry and spoken word workshop, led by performance and language artist Rots (@upperkutje).
In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll work with Rots to create your own poem or spoken word piece from a feminist perspective. You’ll also learn how to deliver your work with confidence. After the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to present your piece, along with the other participants, at Het Ketelhuis café.
💫 Rots is an artist who works with language and explores through performance. This third-culture kid, who previously lived in various countries, graduated from the Image and Language department at the Rietveld Academie during the pandemic. In their interactive performances, Rots explores the culture and ideas surrounding gender, climate change, and inequality of opportunity in a globalised world. In addition to performing and writing, Rots also draws.
🎟️ Sign up now via the button! The workshop costs 5 euros (includes one drink).
