Humans of Film Festival 2024 Jury Members
Meet the industry experts who will select this year’s best films.
Ayfer Ergun studied Theatre Studies at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and subsequently worked for various broadcasting organisations. As a filmmaker, Ergun focuses on telling human interest-stories and shedding light on human rights issues. Her documentaries have been screened at prominent film festivals in the Netherlands and beyond.
Saskia Mollen is a print coordinator and film programmer at the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam, with a special passion for films from the Caribbean and Latin America. She focuses on showcasing and researching the rich film history and cinematography from these regions. Driven by her commitment to increasing diversity in narratives and voices, Saskia actively works at Eye Filmmuseum to highlight the cultural value of these films and reach a wider audience.
Ann(i)e Mul is the director-curator at Nieuwe Vide Artspace, an interdisciplinary researcher, and maker. They co-founded Stichting Queer Haarlem, are a member of Haarlem Town Queers, and form half of the artistic research duo Significant Otherness Co-/lab. Their work explores queer joy, invitation, and the tensions between satisfaction and resistance.

Our jury awards both the best feature and short film with a “Competition Jury Award”. But we also want to hear from you! Before each screening, our friendly volunteers will give you a ballot. Tear it and hand it back to our volunteers or drop it in the ballot box to cast your vote. The feature film with the highest average score will win the ‘Audience Award’.
