Friday, October 11

 

Workshop: Intersectional feminist poetry & spoken word by Rots. 

16:30 – 18:00 | Entresol Café Het Ketelhuis

In this 90-minute session, performance and language artist Rots will guide you through crafting and performing your own poem or spoken word piece. Rots’ own work delves into themes of gender, climate change, and inequality in a globalised world, offering a unique perspective to inspire your own creative process.

Performance: Intersectional feminist poetry & spoken word

18:00 – 18:40 | Café Het Ketelhuis

Participants from the intersectional feminist poetry and spoken word workshop will perform the pieces they created, guided by their mentor for the day, performance and language artist Rots.

Performance: ‘Mama Aisa’: Eco-feminist Surinamese music by Mokumbirth

20:50 – 21:15 | Café Het Ketelhuis

In this performance, Singer Mokumbirth celebrates the spirit of Mother Earth, invoking the rain to nourish her. Join her journey of gratitude for Mother Earth’s nurturing nature and the people who live on this planet with you.
