We warmly welcome you to the 4th edition of the Humans of Film Festival!

From October 10th to 13th, 2024, we will present a carefully curated selection of recent feature films, documentaries, and short films at Het Ketelhuis. The festival also offers an extensive side program, including panel discussions, Q&As with talented filmmakers, intriguing key figures from the city, and a lively party on saturday October 11th, organized in collaboration with DJ Fitgirl from Tinderdome. This year’s film selections tackle a range of urgent topics, with inclusion, intersectionality, and solidarity at the forefront in these fast and ever-changing times.

The 2024 festival theme is Eclipse: Fast and Ever-Changing Times. 

Our aim is that the films we’ve selected, along with the accompanying dialogues, will inspire you to reflect on the rapidly changing world around you. We want you to think about the much-needed inclusion of marginalized groups, whose necessary changes are not fully embraced by all. There are many different situations that intersect, though some prefer to keep them separate. And the diverse circumstances where some choose to stand hand in hand in solidarity, while others do not. We, therefore, invite you to critically examine the transformative meaning of these aspects and the resistance in the times we live in.

We will soon reveal our film selection, but we hope you enjoy and are inspired by the feature films, documentaries, short films, and dialogue programs, and the powerful stories we will share over four days at Het Ketelhuis. We also invite you to share your experiences at Humans of Film Festival on social media via #humansoffilmfestival / @humansoffilmfestival.
