We have the pleasure of introducing Humans of Film Festival’s 2022 jury.

Dr. Sudeep Dasgupta

Sudeep Dasgupta is Associate Professor in Media and Culture at the University of Amsterdam. His research and teaching focuses on the politics of visual culture in the fields of migration, gender and sexuaity and globalisation.

Mélissa Delmée Malétras

Mélissa Delmée Malétras is a film programmer and festival manager based in the Netherlands. She was Festival Director of Leiden Shorts between 2017 and 2021, and still contributes as a senior programmer there. She is on the viewing committee of Movies that Matter since 2020 and is currently working at Paramount.

Danielle Guirguis

Danielle Guirguis founded Smarthouse Films in 2011, and rebranded it in 2015 as a creative impact studio.
Besides this, Danielle is a guest lecturer at the Netherlands Film Academy, a speaker/juror on festivals and a mentor in impact branding for the sustainability program of Start-up Bootcamp, co-founder of ADGreenNL (to promote sustainability in the advertising industry) and the treasurer to the executive board of ACE Producers.
