Synopsis: Guie’dani, a Zapotec indigenous girl, and her mother take up work as maids for an upper-class family in Mexico City. Guie’dani finds it difficult to fit into her new surroundings, but she also doesn’t want to disappoint her mother. Everything changes when she meets Claudia, a rebellious girl with whom she becomes close friends.
